Change is scary.

Happy Sunday! <3

I hope everyone is having a beautiful day! If it hasn’t started off so well,  make sure it ends well!

So change is scary and starting over is sometimes bittersweet, but change is essential for growth and self-improvement. I am a creature of habit. For example: I park in the same area,  take the same routes, and I even buy similar clothing items…well, maybe I’ll blame that one on my bad memory, lol. You get the point. As much as I am afraid of change and starting over, it has never kept me from pursuing new things. I’m the kind of person that just throws myself into something and figures it out on the way. I don’t plan step by step, or over-think trying something new. I just do it.  I go by faith and an “I’ll figure it out” type of mentality. This is the way I see it is: 1) if it’s meant to be, it will happen & 2) If I don’t know how to do it; I can learn.

Every time I start something new, it’s always such a scary feeling. I remember my first day as an intern at Latino 96.3, I was beyond nervous. I was scared of getting lost, finding parking, not doing a good job. I was just so nervous, my stomach would turn when I was on my way to my internship. Lucky for me, I was blessed with a great mentor/boss so it definitely made it easier, but I just didn’t want to disappoint or do a mediocre job.  I’m glad I put myself out there and did it, as scary as it was.

Throughout life we will encounter change, and more than likely it will be scary. BUT just have faith that it will get easier and that something good will come from it.

Hey gypsy!!! I don’t know if you remember me. We meet not so long ago when Rebecca invited me and Caroline to the studio. I really like the things you have post! I hope you are doing great in school and hope to see you in the future.
