Bruna’s Advice: As important as it is to always improve your skill set and perfect your craft, it is just as–if not more–crucial to also maintain a genuine attitude and work ethic in this industry. Unfortunately, ego, ulterior motives and a lack of character are also ‘an LA thing.’ People become so focused on achieving ‘the dream’ that they lose themselves along the way. Don’t let that happen to you. Befriend everyone you work with, because you’ll see them again throughout your journey. The industry seems very big, but it’s much smaller than you’d expect. Leave a positive impression with everyone you meet. Be humble. Be kind. Be inspiring. Be different. And remember that a good person who works hard will always succeed.
